That's pretty creepy.

And because I'm brain damaged - those are just random symbols, right? (As in, no particular meaning for the mask?) I think I recognize several of them.

No they mean something, or so I am told. You'd have to ask bakenekochan what it is though because I think she provided the characters.

the face itself is of Hanyya, the japanese demon of scorned women. the mythos goes that a woman severed scorned or insulted will become a demon that devours the soul of men. ironicly, men are often the one portraying hanyya in plays and the like, to honor the era of kabuki, when all roles, female included, were played by men.
