Eww. Who uses shampoo just handed out on the street? Seriously, what is wrong with you people? Are you touched in the head?

Thankfully your obliviousness serves some purpose. If your hair was green or orange or something you wouldn't even be allowed in my flat, I hope you know.

That's ridiculous.

What is? That shampoo dyed their hair or that I would banish you? Because they're both true.

It wasn't just handed out on the street. It was a sample.

That was handed out. Never trust anything free. There's a reason it's free. It's called being full of shite.

I can't fathom how anyone could believe that something handed out in Diagon Alley for free would work correctly.

Because they are clearly naive simpletons and all should have been sorted to Hufflepuff.

Clearly, yes.

I'd much rather be a 'naive simpleton' than an elitist snob. So thanks.

Those who don't have a lot of money will often use samples when their funds are low. Also, a lot of people accept free products to try before buying - and thereby wasting their money if the product turns out to be bad (which it was).

Well you get what you pay for is all.

Personally I liked the change, brief as it was. So getting that and not paying any money was brilliant.

So, if someone offered you a designer perfume sample for free, you wouldn't take it?

Good for you.

If the designer his or herself gave it to me and it was reputable? Yes. It wasn't something handed out in the street with Merlin knows what in it.
