Ohhhhhh the civil war stuff intrudes... Love where you are going with this. I really like to hope that in this AU at least, Tony will still have someone left..

It's really only aspects of CW and not a full blown huge arc of it, just fleshing out how Tony does lose everyone, just this time he has someone important in his life and that makes things a bit more difficult.

Sorry not to have commented before this but I was reading the whole story non stop. Whew. You've done an admirable job w/this and I say this as someone who has not seen the Iron Man movie and saw but hated the Dark Knight movies. I like your characters and story. And I see that this is a true crossover w/ the Marvel War being pulled in. I am interested to see the War from a DCU POV.
Waiting for the next installment.

I think we prefer to use the movie versions of the boys because there is so much left untouched or characterized that we can pretty much move around and make our little alterations where applicable.

The touching of on CW is pretty brief. There isn't a lot of what the DCU people think except for a few inner thoughts from Bruce. It's more of him watching Tony destroy himself but being unable to do a lot about it. (this series is really based around the how events affect them, not really the events themselves, make sense? but we have tried to give enough information for people to get if they haven't read the comics to know).

Also, completely flabbergasted that you would read this having hated TDK and never seen IM. Just let's us know that at least this series wasn't for nothing. :) thanks for reading!

FanFic Writers often bring more to the characters than the original writers have making what may seem unpalpable or unlikable totally enjoyable by "fixin' thangs" LOL :-D
