so we had a soiree on saturday night. there weren't as many people as i expected, but we still had a good turnout and people seemed to have fun. i'm not too surprised that the garden ended up being more popular than the living room, even though there is less space out there

what exactly is a digestive cookie?

i should have actually said 'digestive biscuit.' they are these circular english cookies, kind of like graham crackers, but slightly softer and not as sweet. the perfect density for dipping in tea. they come in plain, or with chocolate on one side- dark, milk, and milk with caramel. surprisingly i like the dark best.
