I am always terrified of things like that happening to me...mainly because I have a seizure disorder and I do tend to drop in public.

Glad you were not seriously injured. I hate those big trucks. Their drivers usually don't give a damn about anyone or anything else other than their truck. Was behind one today with a modified exhaust. I could not hear my car radio for it. Get better soon.

Oh, yeah. Losing my keys down a grate is one of my biggest fears. Not rational, but ...

When we were sitting in the car (courtesy of Alan's keys) waiting for the Wal*Mart employees to fish my keys out with a magnet on a long pole, the driver of the truck came out. She was every bit the redneck I expected, probably the girlfriend of the truck's owner, and she couldn't put her cigarette down long enough to put her groceries in the cab..just let it dangle from her mouth.
