A few nights ago, I got off the subway one stop early, and on the short walk home I noticed several beautiful new condo buildings. I thought "How nice, maybe el ministro and I could buy into one of those someday soon," but then I looked around and realized that, although I was within blocks of my apartment, where I've lived for a year and a half,

That's one thing I miss about New York- the loyalty. I definitely haven't seen that as much out here in CA. And I miss the Italians.

life in new york is definitely pretty interesting. it's strange that so much goes on in such a little area, and that your entire world can be so small geographically and so huge socially and politically.

it mildly fascinates me, especially since it is so completely different down here.
