Nearly midnight. Thinking of going for a walk. Been feeling really irritable lately and not sure why. I've just been feeling like such a waste of space. I need a change of pace. Didn't mean for that to rhyme. Maybe I should just go to sleep. But I feel so guilty sleeping nowadays.

Things have been amazing thus far. I have a new spring wardrobe - including a gorgeous pea-green trenchcoat that goes with everything and looks hot on me, if I do say so myself - practice has been relaxed but productive, I get paid on Thursday, and midnight bike rides have yielded no casualties as of yet. Happiness is just another word for relief.  I'm happy.

After my April 20 recital in Alton - my last Alton gig, I guess - I will be completely free.  But even now, as I sit in my clothes-infested room, staring down at my desk at an ad for a gorgeous Burberry London trench in this month's Bazaar, I am so serenely giddy it's insane.
