Can't believe it's nearly over!

Last day of my placement at Madras tomorrow, I don't want to leave! It's been exhausting but fun and the kids have been great. Said goodbye to one of my S3 classes today and on their way out every one of them thanked me for teaching them! So sweet ( Read more... )

last day was fine, but a little boring as both 3rd year classes were 'learning to learn' (some course) all day so only had 3 classes. Now I have 2 weeks to do an assignment, 2 weeks at uni, another 6 week placement (but with 2 of those weeks in primary) and final assignment of constructing an e-portfolio (basically huge document containing loads of evidence to say i've met all the criteria for being a teacher!). Not much really, just worried about the portfolio thing, think it's going to be an AWFUL lot of work!

Then come August I'll be a probationer teacher with all my own classes in one school full time, all the staff today were saying they'll try and put a good word in for me and get me back at Madras! Probably won't work but would be nice.....
