Interviews

I got a call around an hour ago -- they want me to come in for a second interview; 10:40 am on Thursday. They said they were looking at having me as a cashier. :) Second interview? Congrats!

Really, cashiering isn't nearly all that bad. Yeah, you get the bad with the good, but, for the most part, it's good. People understand that you are in fact a person, and are generally nice. There are a lot of stupid people, but mostly nice stupid people who are just annoying.

The worst I get on a day-to-day basis is people telling me to slow down, and to smile. It's annoying as heel to hear this so many times, but it still means people care...sort of. If you do get the job, be prepared for people telling you to smile all the time, and for them to talk about random things that you just smile and nod about.

I was also going to stay be prepared for people asking where certain things are (like resturants), but you don't live in a tourist trap like I do, and people probably know where everything is. O.o

But really, espeically if you have great co-workers, cashiering is actually sort of fun. :P Not like you can tell from my ranting. x.X
