What might have been

I was working on Retribution (yes, no sketching...I can't turn out anything I'm pleased with :/), and was around eight pages in. I'd just started a new scene when my cousins came over, both are under ten. The older, who is around six, decided to help me write.

Let me assure both erin_hime and atoyna_lilsnip that this will not be in the final draft. She came up with ( Read more... )

Merry's jealous. She wants lots of pearls and shinny shoes! But, alas, she cannot, for she is the lowest of the low, and connot afford such luxuries. :p

You know, reading that, it makes me think of those Sue-thors I sometimes read about who get into way too much detail over clothing. But, since your cousin's six, it's totally understandable, and kinda mkaes me hopefuly. Because if she thinks that was now, at six, she'll be one of those tweleve year olds who are mad at the Sue-thors for givng her age group a bad name.

But it's still cute. I think you should include it, like a reflection that Liz has, sourly, about herself getting ready. ;) WOuld be funny as heel to see that.

Glad your grandmother's doing okay thus far. My grandmother had surgrey awhile ago, for different reasons, and it's always scary when they are that age. Of course, my grandmother's going to live forever, we've decided, but its still scary.

And yet my cousin insisted she wasn't rich. I guess in her world everyone can afford pearl jewellery and shiny shoes. That'd be a great world to live in.

And yeah, she's only six so I wasn't expecting anything better than that. She even though sentences like "Then came eye shadow, a dark blue colour to show off her eyes." were great, probably because I helped with that and thusly they were longer than what she would come up with. >.>

That would be funny as hell, wouldn't it? We have nine or so pages of my usual writing then bam you're hit with this. It'd be great. ;)

Yeah, it is scary, especially since she's 77 and has other medical conditions. Unfortunately we haven't decided she's going to live forever, so you're very luck in that regard. :P But I'm glad to hear she's doing all right, and I'll probably be seeing my mom tomorrow, who can tell me more about how she is.
