Mother and father are doing well...I miss the crew and the captain. But I hope to be back on board soon. Mother made me this hat...it's cute. But, I'm not utterly sure about it yet. I'll have to ask the Captain if it makes me look fat.

See, if she says it does..then I can throw a fit and have it 'accidentally' fall overboard. Then..mother wont be upset..for long.
