I had to jump on to write about a big step that mitchell took on saturday. I pulled his cot down. He had been sleeping in his single bed all week, so i thought it was time. I wanted to do it nice and early so that we didnt have to worry about it when the baby comes. We are going to have enough to deal with. I also went through his toys and threw ( Read more... )

Ooooooooo go Mitch.. how is he going with it? Does he go straight to bed, or does he get up and come out?

He is pretty good in it. He wakes up through the night again (he only just stopped doing that) But im sure he will get over that soon... I hope. He was a bit of a pain last night. Just crying, but he doesnt get out of bed. I just let him stay up a bit later. He does well cos he gets up at 5:30am-6:00am, so he is rather tired by the time bed time rolls in.. He even stays in there for his day time nap.

Good stuff. Have you got a rail thing or padding next to the bed in case he tumbles out?

I put his cot matteress next to him. He rolled out the other night and it didnt even wake him up. I heard a funny noise so i went in and he was on the floor fast asleep. Its cheaper than buying a $40 rail thing.

oh wow that is a big step :D i hope he takes to it well. its a moment to be proud!

we have taken the sides off roberts cot too, he's fallen out once onto a strategically placed folded up duvet and not since. he cries at bed time too now which he never used to but he doesn't get up.

hope your pregnancy is going well. i wouldn't even think im pregnant if i hadnt had a scan. its a shame because im not feeling any excitement either :(

Well mitchell cried a bit last night at bed time. He slept the whole night though. So that was nice. I think we need to start letting him stay up a bit later to get him more tired.

Im feeling heaps better now. I sometimes get an uncomfortable tight feeling and stretching pains, but its so much better than the first few months.
