your listening to the streets

Hey family,

I still don't have very much news. BUUUUUUUUT I DIIIIIIIIID get a very amazing package from mum and pup, and it had a Canon Digital Elph. I took some pictures and have attatched them so that you can see that I'm still a real person and not just letters on a computer screen. It's such a cool camera too! I'm, as they say in da hip hop townz, stoked.

The first picture is the view from my window in the morning. Yes, it is beautiful, but don't be deceived, the camera makes it a lot more beautiful, plus I made sure not to get any of the barbed wire in the shot. Barbed wire makes everything ugly.

The second picture is me and another office elder, Elder Brown, in our room. We were taking myspace pics, but we don't have myspace anymore.

The third picture is me and Elder Brown up in the top of a tree at the church in Vista Hermosa, my old area. It was hard to climb up there, and even harder to climb down.

The fourth picture is me climbing down. I was kind of hyperventilating a little bit, and I ended up straddling the tree and falling 5 feet. I think I made a bigger deal out of it than it really was.

Just now I was talking with the other missionaries in my district. They asked me what my dad does. I said lawyer. Then they asked me what kind of car he drives. I sad he rides a bike. They all started to laugh, but then I explained to them the situation and they were all like, that's so smart! Yeah, that IS so smart. When I'm a dad, I'm going to ride my bike too.

I don't know why it's so hard for me to express myself on here. I guess it's just weird because things happen with people, but you don't know the places or the people or anything like that, and I could try to go on and explain a lot of stuff, but it's just that, stuff, and I don't feel like explaining stuff.

Happy December, by the way. I hope we all have a good fast Sunday tomorrow. All the missionaries want to fast on KFC, so I brought a notepad to write letters while they eat their hormone fed fried chicken. They don't even have mashed potatoes here at KFC. Va a creer. I just don't get it. I want some mashies from Boston Market, but I also want to be sure that the employees don't hack slash hawk slash hauk slash spit loogies in them before. Me da asco. Bleh.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy these pictures. I'll try to be diligent in sending pictures, and pictures that are a little bit cooler. Maybe a picture of me in my missionary attire. Maybe next week. ;)

I love you fambly. Happy birthday Booga. Rock the casbah this year, my friend, you're turning 18.

Love,

Andrew
