Adam is laughing as he and Vachon more or less drag each other up the stairs and down the corridor to his room.

He's very, very drunk but manages to find his key all the same.

Possibly that search for his key is hampered by the fact that there's a vampire alternately kissing and nibbling on his neck, high up, just below the ear.

That is something of a distraction, yes. Adam tips his head sideways almost unconsciously, giving Vachon better access, as he rummages in his pocket.

"Knight's gonna fucking kill me."

He's laughing as he declares that.

"Make the most of the remaining time, right?"

And another, sharper nip to his neck, still no fangs, still not breaking the skin.

"Live for the moment", Adam declares with a grin. He manages to get his key out and into the door without really looking, and the door opens.
