This morning, Amazon offered me AJP Taylor’s How Wars Begin for 99p. The two books in the set are transcripts of lectures he gave on television from 1977. But talking heads are all over YouTube- not just ones from the past- like Taylor- but ones that are right up to the minute. Talking heads are what I mostly watch these days....

I suppose that's true; there's David Starkey Talks, for instance. But he's been cancelled elsewhere and a lot of the talking heads on YouTube are mad.

just because 'they' are trying to dumb us down doesn't mean we have to be.

Of course not but it annoys me that this sort of programme used to be mainstream and now you have to search for it.
