Mum's sent me a book by a Muggle author from Canada. It's called The Life of Pi, and is rather . . . well, quite frankly, it's rather odd. But compelling in a way. It claims to be the book that will make one believe in God ( Read more... )

It never fails to astonish me how people will constantly pine over things or persons that are not good for them. In the slightest. Particularly when there's an alternative which is infinitely more beneficial. But no, people are perverse and foolish.

I never thought about that...but it's exactly true.
