This may be a bit weird because I don't know you very well, and I'm sorry I haven't been commenting here as often as I'd like. I do read your entries, though, even if I don't always comment.
I've always found communicating through the internet slightly awkward, so excuse me if this comes off the wrong way. I just wanted to say please, don't worry about updating; be lazy and antisocial - just spend as much time with him as you possibly can. Whatever happens, stay strong and hope for the best. You will both stay in my thoughts.
