this is just an addendum to my previous post about TWLOHA. my sister jennifer is the most wonderful, supportive sister i could ever ask for. she was there, living with me, through some of my darkest times. she put up with a lot from me, and even though she had to distance herself a little out of self-preservation, she never abandoned me. i love ( Read more... )

this story is beautiful and now i'm all cry-y and emotional. is there a twloha day next year? i'll do twloha day out of solidarity but they don't really cover portugal so idk how useful it'll be. also before i had once visited the twloha website and didn't get it and all the facebook hipster didn't help until you linked to the new website and they have it all much clearer there.

i do hope people realize they aren't alone and don't give up. because if there's one thing i'm glad i refrained from doing was giving up on trying to be happy.

i don't know when there will be another twloha day. this one was unofficial, not organized by twloha itself. and yeah, i was hesitant to really get involved in it because i don't want to be blended in with the hipster emo kids who just do it because they're hipster emo kids and want to seem conscious and important and all that. but regardless of whether the hipster emo kids are involved in it or not, and regardless of any commercialism involved or trendiness that may arise, it is still an important message to get out. deep down, in the core, what they stand for matters, and i will support that cause of not giving up and spreading love until my dying day. which will be at a ripe old age.
