The grades for the last assignment were far from impressive. However, the content--off topic or actually on topic--was refreshing to read. Most of you appear to have strong senses of justice.

While I admire your motivation and will to research such a broad topic, that was not the assignment I gave to you. However, you receive points for detail, which saved you from a P.

This was so off topic I wonder if you even read the assignment at all. Your paper was excellent, and your beliefs are very strong, but I can't give you credit solely for your intriguing ideals.

A majority of this seemed to be regarding your personal beliefs rather than the criminal mind. If you had left everything but what little you had on the actual topic out then you would have received a higher grade.
