Private, possibly hackable to Staff
There's a case in Los Angeles that requires my attention right now.

I have to contact Watari by owl soon regarding the current situation over there. I'm sure it's gone beyond what it was before.

This sets back what I had planned for the class. Oh well.

Souji write 39.5 inches on the evolution of magical law enforcement procedures, occasionally focusing a bit more on why certain past practices are no longer used. Very detailed and well organised, but it seems a bit uneven on how detailed he on past procedures.

err... Deleted the other one because it pretty much WAS a History of Magic assignment, not general magical law enforcement. >_

Fakir wrote on the differences between Hit Wizards and Aurors and the benefit and detriment of each. The paper may be slightly biased toward the worth of Aurors in comparison to Hit Wizards, but comments that both are essential to the system. He also covers the other departments in the Law enforcement sector of the ministry, summarizing each briefly. It is about 39 inches.

Yuuki wrote about the magical techniques used for catching a criminal, looking into spells that they used and describing how Wizards went about finding the criminal. All in all, it was pretty well researched. About 41 inches worth ( ... )

Yozak Gurrier, 5th year, Gryffindor

He wrote more or less 70 pages in a slobby handwriting about the work of the ministry concerning the handling of magical situations in the muggle world. And the treatment of muggles when they were involved in those cases.

He researched a few examples to give the whole thing a more personal note.

Shin Sawada [5th year Gryffindor]: He wrote about the main differences between current magical law, as well as the enforcers [Aurors] and current Muggle law and their enforcers [the Police officers]. He went more in detail on how both are given special powers to be able to catch the perpetrator of a crime, though how they both go about it diverges due to the technology available to each. While Muggles lack magic, they are able to use motorized vehicles, pepper spray, electric tasers, and guns. Aurors on the other hand are able to use magic, and thus, are able to use it to their advantage in order to apprehend a criminal... in detail.
