I can see so strongly in this fic the Michael that ends up being the uber-successful urban professional who finally finds out that his brother paid his way through college by throwing away his own life and who goes to the ends of the earth to save him. It's so apparent both how much he loves his brother and how realistic his perception of him is, as well as how cold and calculating his mind can be.
I haven't really been able to comment much lately. My head is filled with writing and beta work. But I really like your fic and your comments. May I add you?
*smacks my forehead hard* OH, okay. Totally ignore the comment I had BEFORE I read this on the "after" portion of this story! Some of my earlier questions(about the anger and molestation) still remain but from Lisa's point of view this seems so much sadder. Poor...all of them! I love how Linc just steps up and doesnt even seem to think about what he has to do for his brother. And the little feeling of mourning between then at the end when they both realise that they've just essentially given up their dreams - it's heartbreaking.
You break my heart so well, callmetofu! Never stop. ;)
