#1... Can you imagine being the director and talking this one out with Viggo? Viggo: Okay... I'll do it. But NOBODY better grab my junk! lol Even without the nudity that was a pretty gruesome fight.
#2.. OMG... lol. I so can't wait until Extras starts showing here.
#3 I love this show. His face is just so... idunno
#4..... ..... .... mental note* Slamming your own head into the ground assures victory
Oh, man, Viggo is brave! Stage knives and all, I realize, but, yeeoow! I would not want to have vulnerable parts swinging around in a fight scene. Easily stepped on, squeezed, or whatever. Gotta give him credit for the realism, though, and he's beautifully fit. I hid my eyes from some of it. We gotta get more female and gay male cinematographers and directors, I tell you. Because there is Viggo's beautiful physique on display and they are focusing the cameras on the gore?! Stupid!!!
Also, the last one, the Old Spice commercial? Yes, funny, but painful, too. *scrubs brain* Okay, I realize we're all older, and you are too young to remember when Duran Duran was actually cool, right? But, *waaah*. I had to follow the links to actual Duran Duran videos to feel better.
Though the 80s fashions (OMG so bad, ouch) shown in said vids didn't actually make me feel all that much better. Even the music. Slow and repetitious by today's standards, wow. Memory was kinder. *cries*
hahaha i was SUCH a Duran Duran fangirl when i was a teenager! i wish i had photos of my bedroom walls when i was 13 [that would be 1983, the year music videos broke BIG!] and had John Taylors face plastered everywhere. and Billy Idol too. ah, those were the days!
I haven't even watched the others yet but I was traipsing down the stairs and Bruce Campbell was singing Duran Duran and...well, a lesser girl woulda fainted or something. I'm not saying I swooned, it was more that weak-kneed sort of queasiness one gets when confronted with the inexplicably barfable mass.
