Yay, thank you! I love them all. Especially his expression in the first one, OMG. That scene went by so fast I hardly noticed the nuanced expression, but...handporn! And what a look of...sex! Zero really gets off on hitting people, and Callum wanted us to be clear on that point.

Also? Hairfixing! Eeeeee! Hilarious! Callum's a genius. He took a part that most actors would have phoned in, and he gave it depth and even...humor? He's truly amazing.

And I love how he can dismount a horse and his body language says "curious, suspicious, investigating." He's certainly the silver lining in this cloud (the awful miniseries).

Yes, I adore Alan Cumming, and he was okay in the part. I liked looking at McDonough; not sure how good that performance really was, as it was very comic-book hero-ish, but then, I've still only seen Part 1. It was so awful, and I was busy the next couple of nights (Chanukah has started; I had stuff to do), but I have it saved on the TiVo, maybe for the weekend. *checks* Yes, there is enough beer. With that and the fast-forward button, I ought to be able to get through it. :)

But you're right, Callum was far and away the best actor in that movie, which I realize isn't saying much, but...he was wonderful. He took a clichéd nothing of a part and made something good out of it.

And yes...we are pretty pathetic, eh, to envy a movie horse. *sigh*

my understanding is that Callum is in part2 very little, and a bit on part3. boooooooooo. [ive only seen part1 so far]

mcdonough was in a fantastic short-lived [arent they always?] series called Boomtown. hes a good actor, i just dont think his character was meant to have any real depth beyond being the reluctant and stoic hero.

envy a horse? me? *cough* well..... :)
