Question

For the Mac friends, I have a question:

I'm thinking about setting up a "small" (read: 80 GB or so) partition on my new MacBook for XP Pro. Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, that they wish to share (mhaithaca, I'm looking at you...)?

Thanks!

It Just Works. This is way simpler now that both Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion can use a Boot Camp partition as their boot device, so you don't have to decide once which Windows approach you're going to take and then be stuck with it.

Use the Boot Camp Assistant to create your partition. Install Windows. You can now reboot your Mac into Windows natively, or run either of the commercial Windows-in-a-window options against the same startup partition, whichever's more convenient or appropriate for the moment.
