Yep, this is the same one that you've seen a dozen times. *g*. Only this time, it's what I've read.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Repost this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read less than 6 and force books upon them.

I can't believe you've read The Bible from cover to cover (oh I do believe you, it is just not something someone says every day)......did you do that like consistently over a short period, or was this something you did over a long period of time?

It took me a year. I didn't read from cover to cover, but a chapter of the Old Testament, a chapter of Psalms, and a chapter of the New Testament a day. The NT is easy to get through, but some parts of the OT are a hard slog.

I can understand the time frame....

The OT is a really hard slog, but the NT is definitely easier to get through - to me it is like the old Bible OT and then the modern version NT (at least that is what I remember it being like).

And not trying to be nosey, but just really interested, were you brought up a Christian then? I was; the whole thing; Church/Sunday School etc etc, and very religious parents....let's just say I have my beliefs, but don't actually go to Church any more (which I'm sure my Mum hates, but.....).

My parents weren't religious but Mum sent us to Sunday School. Her idea was that when we were old enough we'd make up our minds whether or not to continue. She'd been sent to Sunday School as a child. I haven't been going to church for a bit, and I should really. I grew up in The Salvation Army, and up until I moved over here, I wore the uniform.
