I went out tonight for the first time in a year to the Goth/Industrial Night at Jade. It was worse than I imagined. There were only 2 other people there other than me and my 4 friends. It was awful. And apparently, Chris Brantley quit the Crux Shadows and is now DJing at Jade......WTF? I spend my last 3 dollars to dance to one VnV song and get ( Read more... )

You make it sound like the I'll be drinking from the fountain of youth or something. LOL. Damn I sure need it though.

Well, I will warn you now that it is quite depressing. People from the scene bitch about there being no place to go, but won't support what's already there.
Most of us now just live in small atmospheres and do dance parties in our own homes. Or at least I do. LOL.

Well, I don't know who was DJing at the time, but I would have gave the guy a piece of my mind. The Cruxshadows, for the most part, are not highly looked upon here. Due mainly to the fact that Rogue shuns his hometown and it's damned near impossible to get him to do a show here. But that does not negate that the music is good.
And yes, it is customary to take ALL requests.
