there were marine recruiters at school on thursday. i set up a peace table next to them and started talking to everyone they were talking to.

and i brought my hula hoop and did lots of fancy hoop tricks. then they left. i am a superhero: hoop girl.

*snicker*

it isn't like i was mean to them. i see these recruiters and then i think of you and my heart gets all filled with gooey compassion and stuff like that.

god it's such a fucking tight spot our country is in. the only stable certain jobs readily available are from the military. woah! sux.

Ha Ha! I could just picture the expressions on their faces. thats really neat... yes its a thoroughly tight spot we are in isnt it? You know I was reading the Washington Post, and there was some big business CEO talking to fresh recruits at some baseball game, and was quoted "I think its a magical thing what you guys are doing, This is a great, and exciting time to join the military" I suppose some people live in damp, soundproof boxes underneath the soil of some politically neutral country...

well, isn't it an exciting time to join the military? isn't the very real probability of people shooting at you, people who hate you without even knowing you, isn't that a little exciting? i mean, exciting wouldn't be my first choice of words... ah well
