is it more adventageous to know someone with all the answers or to know someone who asks all the right questions?

first, nobody has all the answers.

second, you don't have to have the answers, just know where (or from whom) to get them.

Many know-it-alls, like myself, who actually do know everything already, get no where in life because they're so burdened with the weight of their hardened genius. It is better, at least in terms of happiness, to be light and airy and free with curiosity rather than stuck with ten tons of information about the Battle of Verdun and such shit as that.

Anyway, that's what someone with a lot of answers would answer.

First off, dear, it is advantageous and , "...all the answers, or..."
Secondly, I concur with cheekyassmonkey in that not a single sentient in the known universe is omniscient, by any stretch of the term. That being the case, and widely agreed upon, I believe that the phrase "all the answers" requires quotation marks in recognition of it's colloquial nature.
Lastly, while "all the right questions" may be confronted similar to the above phrase, I will refrain from redundancy and state only that I've found a hungry curiosity and a zeal for knowledge to be not only healthy but essential to one's continued enjoyment of life, ie. self-perpetuated happiness is a result of wonderment as well as accomplishment.

Well, apparently like a big boy should...
ie. warm, sated, and pleasantly uncoiled next to his steaming cup of mid-afternoon cocoa ;)

The response from chimpchampion is quite close to what I also believe. Very well said.

How you been? You need to come get your hat. I don't want to be responsible for any cold weather damage that your ears might incur. (Plus I love seeing you, of course!)

We should do a holiday something that's wacky and gay. Like bake cookies and let novi go at them with red and green frosting! Big Big Fun!

Don't come and get your hat. It turns out that it fits me... :Þ

You can still come over, of course. I will hide the hat.
