I think this poem sums up how I'm feeling right now.....

Happy the man, and happy he alone,
He who can call today his own:
He who, secure within, can say,
Tomorrow do thy worst, for I have lived today.

Nice one, good poem liked it and actualy not familier with dryden, curiosity piqued :) (bearing in minde i hav just been immersed in the silver age of marlow and scott recently. man i need to get out more ;P

note benedictum (i diddent know you wer into the angelic mythos ,,, if you dont hav it i can thouroughly recomend jon goodwins angels an endangered species (verey in depth but humerouse take on both sides of the hosts including all the turn coats )
