Hi! I meant more magical stories. Here in the U.S., our magical stories tend to be British (HP, King Arthur, Chronicles of Narnia, and I count Lord of the Rings as British since Tolkien was, etc). Native american magic has rarely made it to the big screen with the notable exception of "Smoke Signals" by Alexie Sherman which got a lot of attention in 1998. But the whole wizard thing? We don't have it. We borrow it from elsewhere. But then that seems okay for a nation formed, over and over again, of immigrants. But Britain seems to live with that part of its heritage right up front and center. Sooner or later everyone plays a witch or wizard, it seems.
