oh wow...i have reached the coolness!!! im deffinatly looking forward to making videos.... starting with Next weekends BEAUTIFUL ONE!!!! ok so the camera is a mini-DV thingy...the proper title of the camera is "Panasonic Palmcorder Multicam PV-GS35".. it also came with this software thing for the computer where you can edit to make videos (nothing super fancy) but i dont understand how to use the program.. but yes, im for sure looking forward to filming everything!!! haha... but my favorite thing about it is the joystick...makes it SO Much easier to use!! haaha... ok,..ya....so im cool now i guess YES!!!

yes it is simply mini-DV and I don't know if that was the one or not, I'll check!
don't use that program for editing, they usually give you a program that tells you you need to buy more add-on's and stuff and they are usually hard to figure out cuz they're made by completely morons who know nothing about video editing.
i recommend you use windows movie maker to start - download the latest version - its free and they have free add on's.
that's what i used to start and it was awesome - then if you pass that test, jason and i can look at making you an apprentice or something lower than us video kings... ok maybe we're not kings, but we could make a video about pretending to be kings.
