You have no idea how much I love Calvin and Hobbs and truthfully the icon I took and credited to you is just what I've been looking for.

i'm sorry i'm new to this whole thing. how do you make one of those your icon?

1. Right click on the icon.

2. Save as: whatever you want to save it as (onto your harddrive).

3. In LJ, go to Manage, User pics and when the screen pops up, click on browse, find the icon on your harddrive and click open. Then, you can "name" the icon whatever you want in the Description bar ... and to credit me, just put "by: murf1013" in the Comments bar.

4. Click "upload" (I think, it might be just "Save".

Hope that helps. :) I'm not very good at how-to's.

I love them! I'm not taking any (yet...). Did you scan the images in yourself or do you have a secret stash of images somewhere?

I actually found most of the images on Google images. I just typed in Calvin and Hobbes and there are a TON of them. I haven't even gotten to the end of the list yet :)

There are only 2 that I really want and haven't found ...

The one with Hobbes in a party hat (I think from Suzie's b-day party) and a better version of this one I took it with a digital camera and don't like the way it looks):

You're very welcome! Enjoy. Oh ... and #5 is actually too big to use as an icon. If you can figure out a way to make it smaller, please feel free to adjust it :)
