I adore Green Wing and I'm heartbroken that they are not doing another series. With this show the writers are quite capable of doing a Young Ones and disposing of the entire cast!
I want Caroline/Mac. Actually, I want Mac for myself, in my few moments of non-Spike adoration. But you can share...
Whatever they decide to do with the characters, it'll proabably be strange, unexpected and possible weird. Green Wing was one of the revelations of 2006 for me - only started watching the second series out of idle curiosity. Bought the S1 DVDs and spent several happy evenings drowning in the wonder. I can't remember when I last laughed as much. Isn't it fabulous? I'm sorry there's no S3, but it can't be easy to keep a cast like that together, and better they go out on a high, I guess.
Funnily enough JRT does absolutely nothing for me (except for the voice - the voice is soooo sexy), but Dr Mac is wonderful. I badly wanted Caromac, but they had to go and spoil it. Poor Mac. But as you say, they're quite capable of anything, so roll on 10.00.
I expect to be online for a WTF? moment soon after it finishes :)
I found the icon on a Green Wing comm somewhere - it's made by someone called call_me_daisy and was open for snagging, so feel free to take if you want!
JRT is mildly hot, but Mac is the Man. (The actor who plays Guy is far hotter than Guy is, oddly enough, IMO.)
We were lucky enough to find GW from the first episode; it's a Scrubs version of The Young Ones - but so much funnier and weirder than Scrubs!
I think we may have to have some mutual online squeeage later. ;-)
I'm not sure my shippery heart is up to another bashing! On the plus side there will be teh funnies as only GW can do it. With Sue White and the squirrel. And Boyce. And Statham and Joanna. And Martin. And the Office Girls.
Well, we got our CaroMac, and a wedding, and very sweet it was too. Mind you, Mac's still going to die in a few weeks...
But - there were some hilarious bits, and I'm sorry it's over. If you get the chance, give it a try. I think you have the somewhat specialised (and bizzare) sort of humour that might well enjoy it :)

I'll clutch at straws with you with the other one. I've resurrected my old Green Wing layout in the last episode's honour.
*hopes for a really really good ep*

I've no doubt it'll be good, but will it be dancing-with-joy or sobbing-broken-heartedly good?
Oh, dear. Nervous again.
I really, really should give up on the 'shipping.
