Its very annoying when an anime series (or any series i suppose) ends leaving you asking questions.

Both Nedesico and Irresponsible Captain Tylor have done this to me in the last week

I take it they were annoying small questions and not the major profound kind then?

Nadesico just ends, you get the imperssion that ther should be more episodes, possibly an entire next series

They also introduced new stuff about an episode and a half from the end

Tylor isnt as bad, but they destroy the ship so you know there will be no more, but it still leaves the question of "but what about this, this and this?"

No, that would give the series closure, and i can deal with that sorta thing (i was actually expecting Nadesico to end like that at one point anyway)
