I think a live band might be good, at the next Reading C/A game, perhaps? :)

More seriously, I think...

Sabbat)
The game is really small, and is suffering from being in an afternoon. It gives it a really odd tone. Can we exploit the size of the game, move it to an evening when it's dark and darken the tone a little bit (without being crass and "I'm sicker than you"). Also, nag people (me included) to write you DTs - it's critical, I think.

CA)
I think it would probably be good to have a think about the tone of the game. I know there are some players who think that the NPCs are a little over-harsh. I don't know if I'd concur or not. They are harsh, but then I think some players need to think around things a bit - not classify NPCs as "Can take in a fight" or "too harsh" only.
Plotwise, there's likely to be some interesting plotting around Disbrowe (assuming certain things) and it would probably be good to give some time and space to that.

Just some thoughts...

Robert

personally, less really fuckign scarry monsters. Threats are good, risk of character death also good. Threats which are really really hard for a full game to take down need to be rare.

I come to Reading and I honestly never know if my charatcer will go out again.

In terms of Sabat, I think there is a an issue nationaly. I don't think its you. Its reached stagnation point without national lead and development.

Personally a feel like I'm resolving soemthign, liek there is a link to my character a reason to be there and as if I actually matter to the story. S'one of the reasons I intend to base my new cam character there.

I think Readign players eem to liek plot thick and fast, they liek threat thrown at them. I think its gettign it right and giving a goof chance to win

Rob,

I would have to say that I agree with the points made by both Robert and Dave.

Erm, me getting to C/A more often (damn events conspiring...grrr) though Robert and Daves points on scary-monster-NPCs are good i'm in two minds. Firstly the fact that they are uber scary some of them is good (though if they are used to wipe out the game, thats bad, m'kay) and if they are (shock horror) lying in some way thats ace.

Less 7th gens, not every NPC has to be at full MC :)

If you must have these things, make them operate more in the background rather than turning up on Elysium and going 'ooh look at me'.

You don't need to make things like the hunters that goobtacular in terms of arms either, just go for the decent mob rules, that'll make them plenty scary.

Don't use the C/A game as a platform for Garou national plot, ones we can affect.

Less undefeatable stuff in general.
