(Cam - Changeling) Eiluned house flaw, perception, reality and playability

“Members of this house love intrigue and cannot help being drawn into plotting and rumormongering. They receive a permanent untrustworthy negative trait and must spend willpower to avoid listening in on or joining any mysteries or plotting that they come across.”
There we go, the Eiluned house flaw as it is, not as some people seem to remember it which is “listen in on everything, try and sneak into every meeting and generally be utterly inept at politics due to having to listen in on everything”.
If there is a whispered conversation going on nearby and the Eiluned knows what it about then do they have to attempt to listen in?
For example in a scene on IRC in the global Changeling room, Rill and Calseris have just returned from the woods after spending several hours in there. They wander over and sit down next to Rills best friend Willow. Rill and Willow start whispering and giggling after Rill shows Willow the rose that Calseris gave her.
That isn’t intrigue, mysteries, politics or plotting its girl talk and as such easily ignored. It progressed into some political stuff regarding Aiken, stuff which he got involved in, not there and then but I don’t see anything in the flaw that says that the Eiluned must approach the situation with the subtly and tact of two snooker balls in a sock.
So before the next set of accusations come out that I’m not playing the house flaw properly please consider the following
1) I may have not noticed the particular bit of plotting, intrigue that you think I am ignoring.
2) I may have forgotten to act on the flaw. This is still a new character and I forget to do stuff from time to time.
3) I may already know what is going on and be involved in it or consider it to not be worthy of kicking the flaw off.
4) I may be being subtle and competent about my politicking as oppose to running round like a headless chicken and may already be plotting how to get hold of required information / whatever
5) I may have spent Willpower to ignore it. I am not obliged to tell other players when I do so.
One last thing, if people choose to respond to this then please remember that this is an open post and as such they should not bring up any character specific things that are not already in the public eye
