Jason is brutal in the movie. I read an interview in which he stated that he wept at a viewing of the movie and his wife had to tell him to straighten up before the lights came on lol.

Oh, just watch the movie if for no other reason than seeing Jason Isaacs being the epitome of evil. I mean he is EVIL, quite possibly one of the most evil characters I have ever seen on film.

I hate this man so much it's ridiculous! Ugh! When I first saw this in the theater I was near tears. lol This man killed two of Mel Gibson's children, including the lovely Heath Ledger. I was not amused.

I had never seen the movie before.

HEath was so amazing in it, I hated it when he died.

I cannot believe how utterly evil Jason Isaacs character was in this movie. He was just disturbingly bad, no conscience, no heart, nothing. It takes a great actor to portray such a convincingly evil man. I truly believed that Tavington was evil.

If he's not the most evil character ever on film, he is right up there.

He did get his in the end.

I've seen the film about a hundred times and every time I find myself cursing Tavington. Truly evil, like you said. He's an amazing actor and plays evil so well.

I love the fact that Jason Isaacs is in real life a quiet unaassuming Jewish man. I have to ifnd that quote, it's great.

My sister and I watched this movie for the first time not long after Heath Ledger died and we were like, AW HELL NO!!!! But damn if Tavington isn't one gorgeous evil motherfucker.
I know, last night was my first and he was so EVIL, I mean just EVIL! But I couldn't look away. Every sneer, every smirk, guh, I just died. Gorgeous Evil Motherfucker doesn't even cover it. I need a Tavington icon!!
