Surprisingly at Peace...as much as possible

So I am surprisingly at peace right now. I am dating (and I say dating, not actually together with) a new boy who I like a lot. I have a lot of respect for him. He has been very slow in terms of steps in the relationship which is really refreshing. I am used to people wanting to jump into bed before the first date and that isn't the case with

Yes! it is so exciting to read this cause I really have noticed that you have been just a little bit happier and calm the last week. I am glad that you are taking it slow to enter a new relationship and I just hope that you can really get a sense of IF this new relationship is going to be the best thing for you right now, because I want you to be happy and to find someone who can appreciate and nurture the fabulous person you are and not make you a crazy mess! Enjoy this peace for all its worth, don't consider it a lull but as a great opportunity.

So it did make me sad to think about you getting out of the "hellhole known at Bakersfield" cause I know that means you will go far away and I won't get to spend as much time with you and i'll be stuck in Bakersfield by myself. However I do want you to be happy and I know there is the perfect place out there waiting for you to move to it!

Okay, well even though you love CA, maybe you should consider moving too. Chi-town is fabulous, and there is a huge body of water there in addition to affordable housing and good jobs. Might be worth considering :-).
