looks like this is going to be a really quiet week-end. nat and I are getting re-acquainted with an old friend: television.

we're also making tons of homemade food. at the moment we're making gnocchi, and last nigh we made spinach pies and an apple pie. later on we're planning on baking our own bread. all from scratch!!!

Gnocchi is the best when it is homemade fresh the way both my grandma's made it.... u could eat a tonne of them raw they were so good. Ever had the in a white sauce??? Rose sauce is best though.

U kids should come out to Velvet tonight to see me, it's been a while...

no, i never had it in white sauce. when i was a kid i'd always eat it with chicken in tomato sauce.
