I doubt this is real, though... I was under the impression that consumption of animal brains in the US was illegal because of the risk of Transmissible spongiform encephalopathy associated with eating brain matter. Proteins that cause the condition can survive boiling temperatures, so it's not like pasteurization would help. (In fact, brain surgury patients have been known to contract it because the autoclaves they use to sterilize the instruments can't kill the carrier proteins)
