It's been a while since I had anything worth posting on this comm and I don't really think that's changed much. That being said, it appears that Batiuk has either finally admitted that he wrote himself into a corner after killing off Lisa Moore and has decided to pull the plug on Winkerbean OR been told that he can only continue writing one strip

…and it’s a flash-forward two generations, so that Bati-yuck can remind us that his art will endure (and, also, can people please, please buy the stacks of “Lisa’s Story” remainders filling up every square foot of his home?).
