No School Tomorrow!!!!!!!!

It's pouring outside, and there's an ice warning with a forecast of one to two INCHES of ice, so my school district has canceled for tomorrow. This is me doing my happy dance!!!

Not only that, but I've found a wonderful YouTube poster that puts up EVERYTHING related to Strictly Come Dancing! It's almost like actually watching the show, ( Read more... )

I think most of us round here are rooting for Gethin, if that helps, although I really love Alesha, and I hope she wins. It's sad, but other than the news, the only thing I watch on TV is Strictly....

I like both Gethin and Alesha. Matt is lately not my favourite though. I don't know what's happened to him, but he's not dancing well and he could do so much better, missed steps or not. Gethin is improving by leaps and bounds, not to mention he's quite nice to look at. Alesha is just good. She reminds me a bit of Mel B that way. Mel had more punch in the Latin dances though. Maybe she could show Alesha how it's done. :)

I don't even watch the news... now that Dancing is over I just watch Strictly online and Stargate Atlantis on TV, but it's over until January too.

I did have a pretty good day. I had to go back to school, but it was an inservice day, so I went out for birthday lunch with a bunch of the other teachers.

Christmas itself was great, but then I got tonsillitis and spent a week in bed doing nothing. That was not in the plan. By the time I was better, break was half over, and I hadn't done anything I was supposed to do, including finishing my Advent story. I was really angry at it anyway. Maybe I'll get it done belatedly.

How was your Christmas?

Must be catching this getting ill thing - Christmas was very nice (why does it seem months ago now?), but I managed to be ill for New Year, which I'm trying to think on as getting the bad stuff over with to start with, lol.

I sympathise about the fic; only got mine done by the skin of my teeth on the last day. But keep going (and angry sometimes works well as you bash it viciously into shape;)).

(And I can't spell so I'm having to edit. Duh!)
