That's really sweet. [this is not my idea but my words].

Think before you speak. I know its hard but words are very powerful. They can uplift someone or really hurt them and the difference might just be in the order they are said.

My two cents (hence the Penny icon):
No one is EVER thinking about/scrutinizing/paying as much attention to you as much as you think they are. It's kind of a "this too shall pass" thing -- keeps me humble while simultaneously warding off self-consciousness.
