A Run In With Civic Duty
In addition to making me feel slightly uninformed and abashed at my vigorous Obama flag waving, a friend's recent post on her issues with Democratic Presidential Candidate also reminded me that I recently had a run in with civic duty myself.

I was surprised they asked you to dress up. When I was called for J.D., I lived in Will County. And the courthouse is, naturally, in the most ghettofied area of Joliet they could find. Putting on a suit would just be begging to get mugged.
