I use to love this pairing (especially in S1) but it lost me a little once she started to become *literally* a witch. :/ Because...well that just sucks for Merlin. ;A; I can see its potential and I do support people who support it (I would support them even if I did not since everyone likes a different ship so it's all good).

I hate that they're making Morgana such a one-dimensional character, too. I'd love to see more of her inner turmoil and conflicts with Merlin. BUT. Tumblr is an amazing place for fuelling ships? They make gorgeous beyond gorgeous graphics so yeah...I just keep falling deeper and deeper.

I can agree with that. She does seem a bit one-dimensional. At the same time, right now I think Morgana is acting a bit one-dimensional though. She really isn't having much conflict in her brain because all she can process right now is getting back at people she believe has wronged her (in some cases which is true, but this is surely not a good way to go about it). It would be cool to see them play a bit at the fact she still is a human being and has her doubts, conflictions, and troubles.

I have never thought of Merlin as a show with strong writing, but sometimes the endless loopholes in the story still make me headdesk though. I MEAN, Morgana practically thought Merlin killed her and they're still existing together so civilly and conflict-free? That's weird, man. I hate it when TV series/animanga ~forgets~ stuff and scenes like that.
