Stupid, over-reacting people

Not only did the stupid Governor declare a "state of emergency" yesterday, but Christopher Newport University cancelled classes yesterday and today and has called for a mandatory evacuation!! They are locking the buildings at noon today, and all the students must be out. Evacuation?? Really?? IT'S A FREAKING TROPICAL STORM PEOPLE!! IT'S NOT

Heh, I've been through 3 or 4 tropical storms in my life. Only time school was ever canceled was after the fact, if the school was full of water or evacuees.
