Anyone in the area....

I know its the holidays, but to anyone that wants to come over to my house tomorrow night, I have an open door, same as last year. As some of you may or may not know, me and J.C. share the same celebrated birthday, so its always good having folks up at the house if possible.

otherwise, have a very merry christmas!

Jesus's Birthday used to be celebrated on th 6th of January, however, to correspond with the festival of Mythras, the Goddess most of the Romans prayed to, the Christian Church changed the holiday.

by the 'christian church,' do you mean the romans?

also, 'however' is not a conjunction, so please stop that. or at least use a semicolon. (it bugs me. also, i love semicolons.)

The christian church might have been the church of the state; however at the time, many people prayed more to the deistic structure surrounding Mythras than they did to the christian god.

However is a conjunction!
