if i wanted to buy a new laptop whihch one?

Should i get a Mac or PC cause they both seem to have about he same programs and function these days, does one still over throw the other with graphic design elements and stuff ?

I guess i also don't know what to look for any suggestions ?

Depends what you want to do with your career. If your looking to work more in the journalism/graphic design field, go with a Mac. If you are more interested in writing for the IT sector, go with a PC.

k thanks, Yeah i want to more towards the journalism stuff and my laptop seems to be dying so i figured to start looking. Have you ever been to the Apple stores? Or do you know why Mac's really are better for design type things?

I can't say why Mac is preferred, I just know from past experience and friends that Macs are much more commonly used than PCs. I think once upon a time, they had better graphical and layout capabilities, both of which are essential to the industry.

I have been in the Apple stores, but I've never bought anything from them. Dustin says he thinks he ordered my iPod from amazon (it was awhile ago and he can't remember.)

Speaking of him, he's been lobbying for an iBook for awhile. I will ask him what he thinks of what is available right now.
