I finished cleaning out my band locker this morning. It's probably the only time i've cried at an ending or a parting. I didn't cry much, but simply the fact that I did signifies a lot. As Shakespeare said: "Parting is such sweet sorrow." It's even more true for the good ole LHS band. It'll hurt even more in the fall, when you aren't at band camp with all those kids that you knew. When you go off to an unfamiliar place with lots of unfamiliar faces. Sadly, that fate occurs with each stage in life. Depressing as THAT thought is, take pride in where you come from, but also remember that you have places to go. Remember the past, live in the now, strive for the future.

haha, you're not all that organized! i remember having to loan you an extra mouthpiece at LYS.. ok, once.

i envy what you have. one person saw me leave band. i spent most of my highschool life wishing to be part of that "incrowd"... and i never found it, at least not in the LSE band... it amuses me that iw as as accepted in the LHS as the LSE... but yeah, endings suck. reading this reminds me of how i felt after leaving the last real day at arts.
