Hi there!

I have a quick question about nominations! How many music videos can one person nominate in one category? And also, overall artist?

Also, is there any way we can know before nominating someone, that, well, they have already been nominated? So you won't get repeats? And the ones nominating won't repeat.

You can nominate as many as you would like. Overall artist is chosen by the results of the other categories, not by nominations.

I do not have a list of current nominations posted anywhere, and I probably won't. The best thing is to just nominate whomever you think should be nominated. If I get a repeat, that's fine. :D

Hi I have a question.

The dates for creation and posting of a vid are from 1/1/09 - 11/1/09, but nominations don't start until 11/9/09.

So my question is what about vids that were created and posted after the 1st but before the 9th?

There is a vid I wanted to nominate but it wasn't posted till the 3rd.

Thank you for asking!

First off, the date of when noms started was a typo, it should have said the 7th (the day I posted the entry)so thank you for pointing that out.

Secondly, I chose the 1st as the cut-off date because I wanted a uniform date for the awards. Any vids made after that date (and before the start of the awards) can be nominated for the next year's awards. I know it may seem unfair because the vid you want to nominate just barely missed the cut-off date but, with the way I am trying to set this up, it makes it easier when putting the awards together for the next year.

Does that make sense?

Did voting start yesterday? If it did, how are we supposed to do it?

I'm most likely making this too complicated, but I've been looking forwards to voting since nominations opened.

I am so very sorry. RL has gotten in the way for the last two days. I am very close to having the nominations ready for the voting round.

is there a reason why certain nominations don't make to the nomination list?

The only reason that a nomination would not be listed is if it did not fall within the date range for eligible vids. If you know of one that was not included and should have been, please let me know. :D
